On Monday, November 13, 2017 h. 20.30 at the Auditorium Manzoni, the concerts of Musica Insieme will host the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the most famous in the Italian scene, and one of the greatest pianists of our time, Krystian Zimerman from Katowice, UNESCO Creative City of Music.
Under the conductor Grzegorz Nowak, we will listen to a program dedicated to the music of Berlioz, Beethoven and Musorgskij.
Performed between two “classics” – the brilliant Berlioz of the Roman Carnival and the monumental Musorgsky of the Pictures at an Exhibition – the Concert No. 4 n G major, Op. 58, for piano and Orchestra by Beethoven, will enable the audience to admire the talent of the great Polish pianist, protagonist of an extraordinary international career alongside leading conductors and orchestras.
The concert, which further strengthens the relationship between the two UNESCO Creative Cities of Music, Bologna and Katowice, is part of a list of 19 projects selected within a call for the internationalisation of the Bolognese music scene 2017/18, aimed at supporting the international activities of musicians and music professionals through their participation in foreign exchange programmes, festivals and tours.
