Young Chorale “Ad Maiora” is a Chorale composed by young people aged between 18 and 26 and directed by Michele Napolitano. The chorale is a group of vocalist exploring in alternative sounds and curious ways songs from different ages and registers, from Middle Ages to Baroque, from folk music to 20th century erudite music or the contemporay one. The happening of the group starts in October 2010 when a few vocalists from two different backgrounds melt in the Young Chorale “Bassi & Co.” (Chorales from the High Schools N. Copernico and L. Bassi from Bologna) and the youngest on of Mikrokosmos – A Multiethnic Chorale from the city.
In this preview, it is important to signal the performance of Young Chorale “Ad Maiora” with the Young Chorale of the Krakowian Witkowski High School on October 9th to the Churc of St Anne, and on October 10th to the Ciolek Bishop Palace, being part of the Polish National Museum.
