Videos of the week
Flush is the first selected single from POPISM, second album work by Italian band Earthset. The song describes a circumstance where the protagonist discovers and accepts, by breaking her routine, a hidden, and to a certain extent disowned, part of herself. Between wakefulness and dreamy atmospheres, the song's unrest is resolved in the finale, where the two souls are reunited like rejoined lovers.
The video represents Giungla’s journey, aka Emanuela Drei, in the US. Armed only with her drum machine, a guitar and her voice, she has quickly made a name for herself on the international scene with her visceral and breath-taking live performances.
“No value is attributed to Sherpas, they go unnoticed in the light of day". The video is presented as a tribute to the Sherpas, tireless mountain guides and men whose spirit is noble. For the band, they represent the metaphor of life.
Soqquadro Italiano, an original and innovative Classical Crossover band that mixes different artistic languages, realised an all-Bolognese videoclip, with a revisited version of a Neapolitan “villanella”.
"Alone with the stars", the first track of the album by Ofeliadorme, an Italian indie rock band from Bologna, is represented as a black and white metaphoric and oneiric journey; the whispering of profound loneliness in a world that wants to appear as hyperconnected.
