The Bolognese musician Suz has been invited by the city of Mannheim, nominated to become UNESCO Creative City of Music, to take part in a special showcase at the Reeperbahn Festival of Hamburg, along with the other Cities of Music. The Clustermanagement Musikwirtschaft Mannheim & Region and the commissioner for cultural and creative industries of the city of Mannheim already presented three successful showcases in the last three years. In cooperation with the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg, the City of Mannheim organize the showcase “The UNESCO Cities of Music Meet The Mannheimers”, on 18 September 2014, at 20h. The line-up is composed by Arbol (Sevilla), Suz (Bologna), Douglas Firs (Gent) and Bled White (Mannheim).
The Reeperbahn Festival, Germany’s biggest club festival, has quickly become a central event for many music fans and people working in the music industry. The ninth edition of the festival will take place from 17-20 September 2014 in Hamburg with another outstanding line-up. The festival program features more than 470 events across a wide range of sectors from the music and creative industries. More than 30.000 visitors from all over the world are expected to attend.
