The Manzoni Theatre, opened in 1933 as a cinema theatre, was built with structure ahead of its time: its design reproduces the first architectural creations in Art Deco style typically inspired by Neo-classicism. The interiors show extremely innovative and atmospheric solutions. In 2002, thanks to a restoring work, the theatre became an auditorium able to host big music events. The idea at the basis of the project was to realise a space resembling the interior of a musical instrument, so as to look like a huge wooden mouthpiece.
