
Paradiso Jazz is a well-established event of all genre of Jazz, with the participation of internationally renowned musicians. The Festival is promoted by the Circolo Arci San Lazzaro in the historic Sala Teatro Paradiso. During the nine former editions, Paradiso Jazz has hosted jazz history by exploring different genres, rhythms and sounds, with a watchful eye for young and new languages and experiment as well.
Guests of this edition will be: Roberto Fonseca (March 30), Sun Ra Arkestra (April 3), Massimo Faraò (April 10), Snarky Puppy (April 24), Fred Wesley (May 8), Kyle Eastwood (15 May).
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary, Paradiso Jazz come out the border of San Lazzaro to “invade” the city of Bologna, with the eagerly-awaited concert at Estragon of the Snarky Puppy, young band jazz, fusion and progressive rock of Brooklyn which consists of about 40 musicians .
The Festival, directed by Franco Fanizzi, is realized with the collaboration of Arci Bologna, with the support of the Emilia-Romagna Region and the contribution of the Municipality of San Lazzaro.
Made up of six performances, the 2017 Festival is starting on Thursday, March 30 and ending on Monday, May 15.
