The pipe organ festival Organi Antichi: un patrimonio da ascoltare in its 28th edition this year starts on Easter Monday in Castenaso and brings a programme of other 13 concerts to venues across Bologna and its province, hereby paying tribute to the title “Antique Pipe organs: A heritage to listen”: antique and modern organs, rich in art and sound, even with the collaboration of other musicians, choral and orchestral groups.
In addition to these events, the Festival works together with the Music Conservatory G.B. Martini of Bologna which promotes and organizes the 3rd concert week “Bologna Città degli Organi” (city of Pipe Organs) a six-day concerts, workshops, master classes and performances.
Fabled Artistic Director of the Festival is Andrea Macinanti whereas the newly appointed President is Adriano Orlandini.
All concerts are free admission.
