From the 6th to the 8th of April 2018 the Orchestra Mozart will be back to Bologna for a Festival with two symphonic concerts with Bernard Haitink, the Dutch director who has raised the legacy of founder Claudio Abbado. On April 7th the programme consists of a chamber concert performed by the Soloists, the Solisti dell’Orchestra Mozart.
The same concerts will be performed the week before at LAC in Lugano, within the prestigious LuganoMusica Festival, where the Orchestra will enjoy a period of residence.
The three-day music Festival will be made up of concerts and meetings with instrumentalists, focusing on Schubert and Mozart, always in the repertoire of the Orchestra.
One of the aims of the Orchestra Mozart Festival is not only to bring every year top level concerts to Bologna, starring the greatest international directors and soloists: it also wants to be a real moment of touch between the city and the Orchestra.
The initiative entitled Mozart Orchestra| Di nota in nota, programme to be defined, will be on from December 2017 to March 2018: it will include concerts, meetings with experts in the music industry, music aperitif with the presence of Orchestra Mozart’ soloists and guided tours at the Philharmonic Academy. The programme will take place both in the city center and in the suburbs.
