The winners of the 7th edition of INCREDIBOL – Bologna’s Creative Innovation have been announced: five of them are creative entreprises with projects connected with the music or sound industry, as a result of the new Music Law by the Department of Culture of the Emilia Romagna Region, that has increased the resources addressed to the music field. Music is in fact a very strong industry in the local context, yet with a wide margin for growth both on at economic and entrepreneurial level.
Let’s meet the five winners, all of them based in the Bologna area: Effetto Viola Srl, the start-up enterprise that has conceived a web app where music is used to produce brain stimulations that lead to wellness; the two freelancers Roberta Ciancio, with the project Suzuki Piano School, and Marianna Murgia, with the sound design project TriBit Studio; and the two associations Zero51 audiolab, with a project for the production and post-production of music and sound effects for audiovisuals, and Artelego, presenting different social and educational activities through the performing arts.
The winners are granted: a sum of 10.000 Euro each, the possibility to be given on gratuitous loan some premises and venues owned by the Municipality of Bologna – to develop their own entrepreneurial project, and a tailor-made consulting desk service, made available by the partner network.
Of all the participants of the 7th edition of IncrediBOL!, the creative projects received from all the Region Emilia Romagna were coming by 19 enterprises, 20 freelancers and 11 associations.
The IncrediBOL! Initiative, conceived to encourage the development of professions and of CCI’s (Cultural Creative Industries), is promoted and coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna, with the contribution of a large public-private partnership, and supported by the Emilia-Romagna Region – General Direction of Economic Development of Knowledge, Labour and Entrepreneurship, according to a programme agreement.
