Talenti, the spring session of the Bologna Festival is room for up-and-coming talents who almost never performed in Bologna.
During this series, on Wednesday 3rd May 2017 at 8.30 pm in San Filippo Neri Oratory, we will have the chance to enjoy the music of a truly outfit – tight-knit duo, the english clarinetist Sacha Rattle, son of Sir Simon Rattle, and the turkish pianist Zeynep Özsuca. They met at Oberlin Conservatory (USA) in 2005 and carried on their musical activity in Berlin.
They don’t just play as a duo: Zeynep works with conductors such as Antonio Pappano, Gustavo Dudamel and Simon Rattle; Sacha is a great solist and collaborates with artists such as Mitsuko Uchida, Isabelle Faust, Katia and Marielle Labèque.
The concert was born from the cooperation between Bologna and Liverpool, both UNESCO Cities of Music, and is one of the 19 projects selected
in the call for internationalisation of Bolognese music 2016/17 to help musicians, artists and other workers to perform on an international stage, through participation in festivals, tours and exchanges.
