The ongoing tribute to Gianni Celati turns to electrical notes, with the free live performance “Cronache emiliane. Letture elettrificate, colonne sonore e fotografie” (Emilian Chronicles. Electrified readings, soundtracks and photographs), with Vasco Brondi and Stefano Pilia.
Wednesday 23th October, at 9 p.m., the Theatre of Centre Montanari, via di Saliceto 3/21, will host Vasco Brondi and Stefano Pilia in a musical performance conceived as a journey across the Emilia region, through the description of its landscapes, towns and countries, alternating words by Emilian writers and original musics, with the protographs by Luigi Ghirri acting as a scene setting. Two unreleased blues, composed by Brondi and Pilla just for this occasion, based on texts, also unreleased, by Gianni Celati.
The live show is part of “La dispersione delle parole. Omaggio a Gianni Celati” (The dispersion of words. Tribute to Gianni Celati), a special project promoted by the Culture, Youth and University Sector of Bologna Municipality.
