On Sunday 14th December, the Coro Arcanto of Bologna and Giovanna Marini are on stage for a concert at Nuovo Teatro Comunale in Gradisca D’Isonzo, near Gorizia, as guest of “All Frontiers” 2014, the international music festival which investigates contemporary art music. The concert includes a selection of pieces from the repertoire created since 2004 by the Chorus and Giovanna Marini together, coming from artistic projects commissioned by AngelicA and taken from works like “Troades” by Euripides, “Oresteia” by Aeschylus, “Turcs tal Frioul” and “Le ceneri di Gramsci” (The ashes of Gramsci) by Pier Paolo Pasolini – all scored by musician Giovanna Marini, beside a few compositions belonging to the repertoire of Giovanna Marini’s vocal Quartet and rearranged by Giovanna Giovannini for a mixed chorus. Mise en espace and acting voice by Antonello Pocetti, soloist voices by Silvia Salfi, Marisa Anconelli, Giuseppe Gasparre, Francesca Lateana and Anna Mele, coordination by Gloria Giovannini.
The concert will be anticipated by a preview in Bologna, on Friday 12th december, 9,15 p.m., at Teatro San Salvatore.
