The orchestra and the choir of Collegium Musicum are performing this year as well the traditional Christmas Concert, which has become a fixed date on both the University and city agenda.
The event will take place on Tuesday December 17th at 9 pm in the striking setting of Chiesa della SS. Annunziata, Via Mamolo 2. The three conductors Enrico Lombardi, Roberto Pischedda and David Winton will lead the orchestra, choir and audience through an intense programme which presents the four pieces for brass quintet by Bach, the Vivaldiana by Malipiero, the Te Deum per la vittoria di Dettingen by Handel and the traditional Christmas carol Once in royal David’s city with the musical arrangement by Enrico Lombardi.
The entrance is free until seats are available.
