Music, art, films, theater, meetings, shows, guided tours and more for grown-ups and children: Bè bolognaestate 2016, is a summer programme coordinated by the Municipality of Bologna: Area for Culture and relationships with the University.
Sponsored by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna, Fondazione del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna and Gruppo Unipol, from June to September, they offer an array of events around the city and outskirts.
Among the confirmed appointments and new projects, Bè bolognaestate 2016 programme underpins music as the main highlight.
Here are a few highlights: Covo Summer, Ombre lunghe Festival, I giardini al Cubo, Il Salotto del Jazz , Montagnola Music Club, Jewish Jazz, Pianofortissimo, A Summer Musical Festival, Orchestre e musica senza frontiere, Kilowatt Summer, BOtanique 7.0, Blues a Balues, Atti Sonori. Il teatro musicale d’estate, (s)nodi -dove le musiche si incrociano, Notti magiche alle Ville e ai castelli and Varignana Music Festival.
By the way, the Zambè project starts with concerts of the Collegium Musicum and the Teatro Comunale in via Zamboni, whereas Zu.Art “garden of the arts” welcomes young students of the Fine Arts and of the Music Conservatory of Bologna.
